People behind PSBA | Susi Marston

Meet Susi Marston, BT’s Head of Public Sector in Wales.

Tell us about your role and day-to-day focus.

I lead BT’s Public Sector business across Wales, which is a real privilege given the role our customers play in people’s everyday lives. My focus is on making sure we’re closely aligned to their priorities and that we’re delivering consistently. Day-to-day, that means spending time with customers, connecting the right teams within BT and making sure we’re doing the right things to support critical services across Wales.

What does PSBA mean to you and what impact do you think it’s had on the Welsh public sector?

PSBA is one of those programmes that quietly makes a huge difference. It underpins so much of how organisations operate, even if it’s not always visible. What I really value is how it brings a level of consistency and reliability across the public sector in Wales, helping different organisations work more seamlessly together and ultimately support better outcomes for the people they serve.

Looking ahead, what are the key priorities for PSBA to continue supporting public sector organisations across Wales?

For me, it’s about continuing to listen and evolve. Our customers’ needs are changing, whether that’s around resilience, new ways of working or digital transformation and PSBA needs to keep pace with that. Maintaining strong relationships and keeping that open dialogue is key, so we can adapt and make sure PSBA continues to add real value as priorities shift.
