The Challenge
The Shared Resource Service supports several public sector organisations across South East Wales. Its previous web proxy server made it difficult to monitor internet activity in real time. Staff had to generate reports and analyse data to identify issues.
Blocking or allowing websites was also a complex and time-consuming process. This created frustration for organisations using the service.
The Solution
We implemented our web filtering service to simplify network monitoring and management. The new system allows alerts to be configured so issues can be identified immediately. Internet traffic can now be monitored in real time.
Websites can be blocked or allowed quickly using simple controls. These improvements have strengthened safeguarding and improved network management.
