Grŵp Cynefin

Reliable connectivity was needed to support collaboration between teams and deliver digital services. Our managed network and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) voice services strengthened connectivity while reducing telephony costs.

The Challenge

Grŵp Cynefin provides more than 4,800 homes across North Wales and North Powys. The organisation operates across 21 sites and employs more than 200 staff. Increasing demand for digital services meant the organisation required reliable connectivity between offices.

Legacy voice systems were also creating additional costs. The organisation therefore needed a modern network capable of supporting collaboration and digital services.

The Solution

We connected the organisation’s sites through the PSBA network. This provides fast and resilient connectivity across offices. The organisation also replaced legacy voice services with a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) solution.

This removed the need for ISDN lines, reducing operational costs. The managed service allows IT staff to focus on other priorities rather than managing network connectivity.

Sector: Education
Problem: Security and Reliability
Solution: Public Access Wi-Fi Service
Outcome: Strengthened Security

I must admit I was sceptical about moving onto PSBA as it seemed too good to be true. The price was lower than our existing provider, yet we would be getting increased guaranteed bandwidth with a far superior service level agreement. I needn’t have worried! It was undoubtedly a positive move. It has allowed me to grow technology and invest elsewhere. I’m excited about PSBA’s future technology roadmap and how it can help me to make Grŵp Cynefin even more successful.
