Councils

Supporting local authorities with reliable connectivity for services, staff and community infrastructure.

Local authorities deliver a wide range of services, including housing, planning, education, environmental services and community support. These services increasingly depend on reliable digital infrastructure that enables staff to access systems, collaborate with partner organisations and deliver services to communities.

PSBA provides fast and secure connectivity that supports councils across Wales in delivering digital public services.

Case Study Spotlight

Borderbrook School

Fibre to the Premises connectivity increased speeds by up to 150 times. Teachers and pupils can now use online learning platforms and digital educational resources more effectively. The Challenge Borderbrook Primary School previously had a broadband connection of only 0.5 Mbps. The slow connection made it difficult for teachers to use online resources in lessons.

PSBA Roaming has enabled health authority and council workers to seamlessly access their native network without issues. Efficient co-located working has increased productivity between social services and the health board. Employees have increased flexibility and the ability to instantly access essential data without compromising on security.
